La Tomatina is a massive, one-hour-long food fight held annually on the last Wednesday of August in Buñol, Spain, where thousands of participants pelt each other with overripe tomatoes. To celebrate and immerse, Ms. Martin's Spanish classes took part in a "tomato" fight and practiced their Spanish reading skills. Way to bring learning to life!

Congratulations to Sylvan Hills High School Senior Addison Thomas who recently was selected as the 1st place winner of the 2025 Clinton Foundation Ideas Matter Scholarship Essay Contest!
