Life and Fitness classes participated in a Salsa and Chip Lab. They made salsa from scratch and used the air fryer to make chips out of tortilla shells. This was their first food lab and they were very excited about it. Everyone loved the salsa. The chips were devoured as soon as they were made.

AVID in Action: AP Chemistry students collaborated to calculate "Enthalpies of Reactions" to determine if the reaction was Endothermic or Exothermic. After verifying their answer, the students created a poster with an Energy Diagram and summary of the reaction and calculations.
Students in our work programs (JAG and Business Internship) have an opportunity to get hands-on experience this year! These students are developing job skills & preparing for post-secondary education. What a great opportunity to work with employers, learn about different career paths & build a resume!
