Life and Fitness students in Ms. Cummings' classes participated in a Salsa and Chip Lab. They made salsa from scratch and used the air fryer to make chips out of tortilla shells. Everyone loved the salsa. The chips were devoured as soon as they were made.

Join us in celebrating our students for their great accomplishments for the first semester of the 2024 - 2025 School Year!

This week in AP Art 2-D Design students examined the idea of hiding emotions. To visually express this idea through a photography project, students used a classmate as a model and took two pictures of the model showing two contrasting emotions. Then, they used photo editing apps to represent the true emotion (or hidden emotion) with a transparent figure layered into the other photo. The students did a great job!

PCSSD high school students have the chance to be active participants in our school board meetings. Tuesday night, SYLVAN HILLS HIGH senior Kamorean Matthews represented the student body at the January Board of Education meeting. We are so proud of his hard work and willingness to represent the Bears. Way to go, Kamorean!
