Students were invited to bring their dads early to school last week (Thursday) for a "donuts with dad" celebration. We appreciate those who came to school early for this Bears tradition.

The SHHS Forensics and Debate team started off the year with a fantastic start. junior Hannah Burke placed 1st, senior Jacob Grinder placed 2nd, and junior Hope People. Other finalists included juniors Keziah Stinyard, Ty Hunsicker, and Chaz Boyd were all finalists. Congratulations to all the SHHS students who competed!

The SHHS Studies in African American Culture Club attended two HBCU college tours at Philander Smith College and Arkansas Baptist College on September 27. This month, the group attended the Movie "Woman King"on yesterday October 4.
