Our AP Art 2-D Design students were challenged with the task of taking photos through a water bottle with the bottom cut off. They were shown how to take pictures through the small and large openings and then set free from the classroom to express their creativity by taking photos around the campus and seeing the effect that the bottle would have on their images.

Way to go, XC Bears! They participated in the Sherwood 5K Run this weekend! Our Student athletes represented the school well! Nathan Lam placed second, and Hugo Alamilla placed third in the mens 18 and under division! Matti Kohler placed first, and Ava Hendrickson placed third in the ladies 18 and under division! All of our runners ran personal best times this weekend!

In honor of High School Voter Registration Week, Pulaski County Government hosted a voter registration drive at SYLVAN HILLS HIGH. Thirty Bear Seniors (who will be 18 by Nov. 5) registered to fulfill their civic duty. Thanks to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and our Teen Court students for helping with the registration drive!
