Due to Covid -19 restrictions this school year, tickets will be pre-sold before varsity athletic events. Fans who are planning to attend the Varsity Football game on Thursday night against Pine Bluff will need to purchase tickets on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00pm at the main ticket booth of the Bears football stadium. Any 9th thru 12th grade student may pick up a free student ticket to the Pine Bluff game by presenting their student ID. All 9th thru 12th grade students will have to come pick up a ticket to be able to attend the game on Thursday night. No student tickets will be available at the ticket office Thursday night, and no student will be allowed to enter the stadium without a ticket and their student ID. Students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Students can pick up a ticket on Monday,Tuesday, or Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 at the main ticket booth of the Bears football stadium. Please understand that when we are sold out of our allocated number of tickets due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be no more tickets available for the game. Central Arkansas is expected to feel the impact of Hurricane Laura tomorrow. Based on the most current weather updates, the heaviest impact is expected between 3-4pm. Therefore, PCSSD will dismiss school early on Thursday, August 27. Elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30am and Secondary schools will dismiss at 1:00pm. Dismissal times are for both car and bus riders. District offices will dismiss at 1pm as well. There will be no district athletics events on Thursday, August 27. No decision has been made about school or athletic activities for Friday at this time.
