Register by the end of February to earn PBIS points!
Parents follow these steps for registering next year:
1. Check email for registration user name and password. (Contact Ms. Kendrick or Ms. Dudeck if you need your information)
2. Go to pcssd.org/registser
3. Register under the "Returning Student" option. This must be done for each child.
4. Registration must be complete. "Pending" shows up once all information has been submitted.

Darrell Walker was a basketball standout at University of Arkansas. He was drafted by the Knicks in 1983, played for 5 NBA teams & won a Championship with '93 Bulls. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2018.

Florence Beatrice Price was a published composer by 14, composing more than 300 pieces. She's a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. She was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2018.

Sterling B. Williams, M.D. was a leader in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, holding a number of faculty and leadership positions at universities across the U.S. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2008.

Milton P. Crenchaw is an original Tuskegee Airmen. He was one of the first African Americans (and the first in Arkansas) to be trained as a civilian licensed pilot. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2007.

Deborah Mathis is an acclaimed columnist and reporter for both print and TV. She worked in Arkansas, Mississippi and Washington, D.C. She also authored three books. She was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2003.

You may recall the touching poem that Amanda Gorman read during the presidential inauguration last month. One of our art teachers, Ms. Maggio,
decorated her door for Black History Month with a line from that poem. So beautiful!


Ernest Green was the 1st African American & only one from Little Rock Nine to graduate from Central HS in 1957. He served the Asst. Secretary of Labor from 1977-1981. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 1993.
