PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- Sylvan Hills High junior McKenzie Young’s artwork, entitled “Sugar High” has been accepted into the 61st annual Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition.
The watercolor piece was selected as one of the participants for the exhibition from over 400 submissions across the state. The piece has also been entered into the Young Arkansas Artists Virtual Awards to be held May 14 on YouTube.
“Sugar High” was submitted by Sylvan Hills art teacher Mrs. Tammie Dillon. This is Young’s second year in a row to be accepted into the exhibition.
