Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!  We look forward to working with your child no matter what their school plan may be this year - Traditional, Blended or Virtual.  We will begin our year by having a drive-thru distribution of chromebooks and ID Badges.  Students may also pay their $20 school fee at this time.  Student drivers will also need to pay for their $15 parking pass.

Schedule

Seniors - Thursday, August 13, 1-6 p.m.

Juniors - Monday, August 17, 1-6 p.m.

Sophomores - Tuesday, August 18, 1-6 p.m.

Instructions

Please enter through the front drive of the school from DeeJay Hudson Drive and turn left onto the front drive of the school to pick up your chromebook and ID badge.  Please remain in your car, wearing your mask, and a staff member will gather your $20 student fee and issue you your chromebook and ID badge.  If you are a student driver, please have an additional $15 to take care of your parking pass.  Student drivers will also need to present a copy of their drivers license, proof of insurance and registration.  Please bring cash to take care of fees.

Virtual Tour of Sylvan Hills High School

The Student Voice organization of SHHS is in the process of recording and publishing a virtual tour of the school for new students.  We will provide a link to the virtual tour on our school web page once it’s completed.

Students will not be issued lockers this year due to COVID-19 and students must have a see-through backpack (clear or mesh) to carry their items in.

Water fountains will not be available for student use, but we do have contactless water bottle filling stations and encourage students to bring their own water bottles for use during the school day.

Thank you; I look forward to working with you on this new venture!
