Referrals for Level II screening and services for characteristics of dyslexia are initiated at the school level. During the 2023-2024 school year, Pulaski County Special School District used Take Flight and The Sonday System, Orton-Gillingam Based Reading Intervention Programs, in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.

During the 2023-2024 school year, 906 Pulaski County Special School District students were identified as receiving dyslexia interventions.

During the 2023-2024 school year, 72 students attending Pulaski County Special School District Schools were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia but did not receive interventions. Therefore, the total number of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia within the Pulaski County Special School District was 978.
