Welcome Back Mighty Tigers Families! We are excited to start this new school year Roaring to Excellence as we live out and walk in the legacy of Daisy Gatson Bates. We believe that purpose, greatness and excellence lies within our scholars of today and leaders of tomorrow. Our mission is set and our vision is cleared: To increase student achievement, decrease opportunity gaps, cultivate 21st century skills and produce contributing members of the global community. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade.  I also served as a literacy coach at Oakbrooke Elementary.  I have four children ages 22, 20, 12, and 9.  I have been married to my husband Jeff for 25 years.  I love cats, Mexican food, working with children and Disney World.  My quote for the 2021-22 school year is “You will either step forward into growth, or you will step backward into safety.”
