Cell Phone Policy
RULE 208. Use of Paging Devices (Beepers), Cell Phones, Electronic Devices, or Other Electronic Communication Devices
Students shall comply with all school employees regarding the use of electronic devices, including cell phones. Electronic devices, electronic communication devices, and/or electronic devices with photographic capabilities confiscated during State mandated tests (ELPA21, ACT Aspire, ACT, MSAA, and norm referenced tests) will not be returned until the end of the school year. The building administrator is given reasonable discretion for the return of confiscated electronic devices to the student or the parent (A.C. A. 6-18-502)
RULE 208 CONSEQUENCES
a. Suspension – 1 day
b. Suspension – 2 days
c. Suspension - 4 days and probation
D. Recommendation for expulsion
Level II Rules have Level I Consequences for Elementary Students.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN MORE SEVERE DISCIPLINARY CONSEQUENCES
