“My Future Matters, I’m Drug-Free!”
We would like you to participate in our daily themes to show that our school is Proud to be Drug Free!!! LET’S HAVE FUN!!
Monday, October 21- “Drugs Change Your Character”- Dress up as your favorite book character or movie.
Tuesday, October 22- “Moving at Sylvan Hills High to a DRUG-FREE Beat!”- Dress up as your favorite hip hop/pop star (past or present).
Wednesday, October 23- “Let’s Have a LONG DRUG-FREE Life- Dress up like a SENIOR citizen.
Thursday, October 24- “Cowboy up and Boot Drugs”-Wear Western wear
Friday, October 25- “Sylvan Hills High Bears are too Proud for Drugs!”- Show your school spirit by wearing blue.
Poetry Contest- There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. First place will receive a $20 gift card, and it will be read over the intercom on the last day of Red Ribbon Week. Second place will receive a $10 gift card, and third place will receive a $5 gift card. Deadline to enter is 10/23.
There will be awards given for BEST DRESSED daily. A winner will be chosen each day by 1st period teachers, and then announced at the end of the day.
