The PCSSD summer school program is designed to provide instruction for students in Grades 9-12 for credit recovery for high school students. Summer school instruction will be delivered by certified teachers who will use a variety of methods, strategies and Edgenuity to support students’ learning experiences.Interested parents should contact Ms. Lipsmeyer at 501-234-6559 for more information about eligibility and the registration process. All registration must be done at SHHS. Semester 1 courses will only be offered Session I and Semester 2 courses will only be offered during Session II.
High School students may also use Edgenuity (Online) to complete credit recovery online for any available course should they prefer to work from home. These courses will also be facilitated by certified teachers. Please keep in mind choosing this option requires focus, dedication and a minimum 60 hour commitment on the part of the student for each course taken. Only 2016-2017 SENIORS are allowed to take an online math course and the application must be approved by the District Office.
High school courses will include English I-IV, Algebra I, Algebra A & B, Bridge to Algebra II, Algebra II, Geometry and Advanced Topics in Mathematics, as well as social studies and science courses based on student requests.

Transportation is not provided.
May 8–June 16: Middle & High Registration for On-Site Summer School: Sessions I & II
May 8 - June 30: High School Online Summer School Registration: Sessions I & II
ALL Registration will be done at the local school.
June 12 - July 21: High School Online Summer School: Summer Sessions I & II
June 19– July 6: On-Site Summer School: Summer Sessions I & II
Summer Session I: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
Summer Session II: Monday – Thursday, 11:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
July 4: No school, Independence Day
